About Moss Bay Recorder Society

Moss Bay Recorder Society is a chapter of the American Recorder Society. We meet monthly, September through March, on the second Saturday of the month, 2-4:30 pm.  Each April we gather on a Saturday to play all day at our annual Moss Bay Meet.

Our meetings are usually held at libraries in the King County  and Seattle Public Library systems.  Check the website for updates on the next meeting location.

Miyo Aoki, our Music Director, is a recorder teacher, performer, and early music scholar with degrees in early music performance and mathematics from Indiana University and KAZ Diplom (Artist Diploma) from the University of the Arts in Bremen, Germany. She has performed in the US, Germany, and Poland, and has premiered works by contemporary composers.

Meetings are free, but our operating expenses are covered by voluntary membership dues of $35/year. We hope you’ll come and make music with us!

All players are welcome.  Please join us at our next meeting!
